Gio, thanks for coming and taking the time to comment. legacy is a complex issue but one that if you do not manage properly, can certainly get away from you which is the case of Joe Paterno. Such short sighted choices!

Great film! You ask some really good questions. I recently watched the film "This Is It" and it's astonishing how other people played such a negative role in Michael Jackson's life during that one time period. He ultimately arrived at a point where he said "I'll never trust anyone ever again!". That is so sad, and him choosing that particular thought really lead to his decline in health. If ever there was an interesting legacy to review, it was his. I agree with you 100% on living in terms of your legacy. Others may not see your path or understand your choices, but if *you* know why and they are done with contemplation then your legacy should proceed as planned. Life is always out of our control but we can enhance the outcome of what happens with our choices.

*happy.tears* This made me think of my nephew Joey (autistic).

When I was working at the salon, doing Nails—I was a great listener. As one particular client came in to relax after a long day at work, I noticed she was a bit distraught and dismal. The next day I stopped by a Hallmark shop, and picked up a beautiful card for her. She loved it, and said she did not realize she was melancholy. That Hallmark card made her day! Of course that made me feel great as well.

If one is passionate on what type of work one is doing, they will love their job, and everyone will notice. I was very passionate of the beauty industry. I'm the one that went to the beauty shows, brought back new products, tried out new techniques, and taught staff members. I worked very hard, had hundreds of clients, AND I was sort-of a big deal—you know. ;) I was famous (people knew who I was, and other salon owners/managers contacted me to go work for them)—you want my autograph!!?

Two of the best people I've had the pleasure of working for are Rick and Tommy. I feel absolutely terrible to hear of this news for Rick. He is such a great guy with such a great family that this loss is just heartbreaking.
